It's For Real Workplace Ethics, Series I and II

Click here to view a PDF sample of the It's for Real, Series I

Highlights of It's For Real Workplace Ethics:

  • The short story tells of an ethical dilemma encountered by one of the five young people.
  • "The Boss’s Point of View" describes what a boss might think about each ethical situation.
  • "Ask Jess" answers questions about ethical concerns related to a specific topic.
  • Activities challenge students to consider other cases that involve the same ethical problem.

In It's for Real Workplace Ethics your students follow five friends who encounter ethical dilemmas as they work in their part-time jobs after school. Each It's for Real Narrated CD lesson addresses a different ethics topic that requires critical thinking and problem solving.

Your students are asked to decide "What Would You Do?" in the same situation.

It's for Real Workplace Ethics Interactive CD:

The It's for Real interactive CD provides a fun and compelling look at real workplace ethics.  The narrated stories are the same as in the paper version.  Students may work individually or in groups on-screen.  ON/OFF narration and integrated activities address the needs of visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners.  Students type their answers on screen and print a hard copy for the teacher.  To have a free Demo CD mailed to you, please request free samples today!

Instructor ’s Guide CD

For each of the 32 lessons, the Instructor's Guide CD contains three contextual learning activities, teaching suggestions, solutions, and transparency masters.  Activity 1 requires problem solving.  Activity 2 integrates job skills with English, math, science or social studies.  Activity 3 promotes cooperative learning, provides a challenge, and demands critical thinking.  Suggestions and recommendations for instructors include performance standards and a generic evaluation system.
